FRD, in partnership with Hittin Development Foundation, signed an agreement with the Executive Unit for Internally Displaced people to implement a project for relocating displaced families from the Agriculture Office area to Khawlah Residential Village in Marib Governorate.
The village comprises 50 housing units, along with educational and health facilities, a water well, and a masjid (a mosque), aiming to provide safe shelter, a dignified life, and comprehensive services for displaced families, with generous support from the State of Kuwait.
Dawood Alwah, Chairman of FRD, reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to supporting shelter projects and establishing model residential communities for internally displaced persons, in a manner that preserves their human dignity.
The project was described as a model initiative, as it provides housing units and essential services that contribute to improving the living conditions of displaced families in Marib.
