In the month of mercy and generosity, the Humanitarian Relief and Development Coalition Foundation (FRD) rose to the call of those in need—feeding the hungry, supporting vulnerable families, and bringing hope to communities across different regions.
The Foundation launched its Iftar Project, providing thousands of hot meals to families in need, filling empty plates and warming the hearts of fasting households. In addition, FRD distributed Ramadan food baskets containing essential staples, ensuring that struggling families had access to the basic necessities throughout the holy month.
Recognizing that thirst can be as harsh as hunger, the Water Supply Projects were implemented, delivering water trucks to areas suffering from scarcity, quenching the thirst of countless families and easing their hardship. FRD also extended care to orphans through its Orphan Sponsorship Program, providing them with dignified living support, as well as new clothes to bring joy and comfort ahead of Eid al-Fitr.
Zakat contributions were entrusted to FRD by generous donors and distributed to rightful beneficiaries—offering purification for givers and a lifeline for those in need. The light of the Qur’an was also present in these efforts, with copies of the Holy Book distributed to strengthen spiritual bonds, alongside dates shared to bless the tables of fasting families.
Through these initiatives, Ramadan this year was unlike any other for many vulnerable households. FRD helped ease their burdens, transforming the month of mercy into a season of hope on their path of hardship.
